Senior Web Developer - Contract to Perm

We are seeking a skilled web developer to help drive the front-end production of a new website. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contributing final XHTML, HTML, and JavaScript code to the production of a medium-scale commerce website. This position will work closely with other developers, and designers, so excellent communication skills are a must.  This is a rare and exciting opportunity to help contribute to the look and feel of a new and expanding business. We need strong ASP.NET UI / front-end skills. Deep knowledge of Photoshop or graphic design tools is not necessary but you should know how to implement a UI from a given specification, and be able to wire it up to existing middle-tier infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Expert in XHTML/HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Expert knowledge of web standards, accessibility, usability, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience developing modular, scalable code in combination with page templates.
• Can turn mock-ups into functioning web pages
• Knowledge of using and implementing CMS software
• Senior knowledge of ASP.Net
• 3-5+ years of experience in web application development with a successful track record
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Mobile/Ajax/Silverlight experience
