Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: Bellevue, WA

This company is the leading provider of roofing estimates using highly sophisticated patent pending technology.  They are expanding rapidly and looking for a software engineer with experience in algorithm design and analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Solve problems by creating new algorithms
• Work with a small Research and Development team to create, optimize and integrate algorithms into our internal software tools
• Transition research and proof-of-concept projects into production features with production quality code
• Migrate internal tools from Matlab to C# and from C++ to C#
• While not a primary focus of the position, the engineer will be developing C# user interfaces to wrap around underlying algorithms

Job Requirements:

• BS Degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline
• MS or PhD a plus
• 5+ years in software development
• Experience with image analysis / computer vision
• Experience with GIS and image databases
• CAD and/or 3D modeling experience a plus
• DirectX experience
• Proficiency with C++ and C#
• Recent experience with Matlab a huge plus
• Knowledge of Agile development environment
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills
• Must enjoy algorithm development
• Extreme attention to detail
• Must be comfortable working with incomplete requirements and can work independently to resolve requirement gaps with stakeholders
• Positive and energetic with a "Do What It Takes" Attitude
