Tech Support Engineer
A Seattle company that
specializes in address management software is seeking a top notch technical
support engineer to provide superior technical customer service to their
clients. This is a new position to help support their rapidly expanding
customer base.
Job Description:
We are
looking for a technical superstar who can hit the ground running at the code
level to help customers with their high-end, enterprise level, custom
integrations of products. This is a frontline support position and requires
in-depth technical knowledge as well as postal regulation information. A
strong technical background is essential and hands-on coding with VBA or C# is
required.
Other job duties include:
- Comprehensive
end-user support via phone and e-mail
- Assist
sales with technical issues to win new accounts
- Conduct
regular QA and beta testing
- Research
and write KB articles
- Provide
end-user training
Required Skills:
- 4-year
degree. Computer Science preferred
- Minimum
2 years of direct end-user/customer support experience
- Software
industry experience strongly preferred
- VBA
or other coding experience/education is essential - applicants without
this cannot be considered
- Proficient
with MS Office - Excel and Access in particular
- Excellent
written/verbal communication and problem solving skills
- Knowledge/experience
with Windows 9x, NT, 2000, NT Server, SQL
- Strong
interpersonal skills
- Team
player
- Excellent
communication skills and calm personality required
