Games Software Development Engineer

A Software Development Engineer for this exciting gaming company will be writing and maintaining code for the core internet platform. The position reports to the Development Manager. We are looking for someone with expertise and passion for games development. You should have senior expertise with Java and MySQL.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and code major gaming platform components
• Work with game designers, testers, operations and production
• Work with QA, perform code and architecture reviews
• Meet ship dates and adhere to quality coding standards

Requirements:

• BS or equivalent required with MS preferred
• 8+ years of hands on coding and relevant experience
• Senior experience with C, Java, MySQL, Apache, Linux
• Experienced with the following technologies: EJB, JDBC, JMS, SOAP, and Spring, Hibernate
• Experience using enhanced JDK1.5+ functionality
• Knowledge of relational schema and data layer interfaces using MySQL
• Platform component development with APIs using SOA, SOAP or RESTful models
• Quick learner, team player
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced start-up environment

Green Card or US Citizenship required.
