This section describes how your privacy is protected if you use the MetaTech Professional Staffing web site.

We do not collect or distribute private information about users or web site visitors, except in the case where a user voluntarily submits a personal resume to our Career Center which is discussed separately below.

In no other case do we collect any information about a visitor.

We reserve the right to collect aggregated statistical information in order to improve web site performance or suitability. Any web site content from our site downloaded to your browser does not contain any code, script, or content which is capable of collecting private or sensitive information, such as names, IP addresses, or other material which might be considered confidential.

We reserve the right to collect the type, version, and display capabilities of the browser being used to access the site in order to automatically ensure the integrity of our web site as it is accessed by the user. We collect this only because of the wide variety of browsers and their capabilities. The information collected is within the published limits for safe, high-security settings within all browsers that we support.

If you voluntarily upload a resume, MetaTech Professional Staffing reserves the right to share that resume content, in full or in part, with anyone necessary part of the process of attempting to match job candidates with our clients. While you are actively seeking placement, we reserve the right to contact you regarding such placement. In the event that you wish for us to discontinue contact, we will make every effort to stop such contacts and cease further distribution of your information to third parties, but make no guarantees as to timing. We reserve the right to retain your resume indefinitely for statistical purposes. Because of the nature of our business, we cannot guarantee that a request to remove all records of your information will be possible. This is because your material may have been distributed to our clients for consideration during the placement process and we cannot guarantee its subsequent security.

We utilize industry standard security mechanisms such as 128-bit HTTPS encryption and X.509 Certificates during the upload process to prevent disclosure to third parties, and we take every precaution thereafter to protect your personal information and prevent its accidental disclosure. If you E-Mail a resume to us, be aware that strong protection mechanisms for E-Mail are not widely implemented, and we cannot guarantee that disclosure will not have occurred as the E-Mail is routed to us. We do not provide any assurances or guarantees that information disclosure will not accidentally occur and we expressly disclaim any obligations or remedies.
